Maine Boy, 3, Found Dead in the Snow by Dad After He Was Reported Missing

A family member of a grieving family who recently lost their young son has started a GoFundMe to help with funeral and medical expenses.

On January 12, 2025, a 3-year-old boy from Corinna, Maine, was reported missing. His father later found him outside in the snow, and authorities suspect he may have died from exposure to the cold, though an autopsy is pending. The investigation is being led by the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit, along with local law enforcement.

To support the family, the boy’s aunt, Desiree Ambrose, launched the GoFundMe campaign, sharing a photo of the joyful child with his mother. The page has raised over $5,500 of its $10,000 goal. Ambrose described the boy as a loving and happy child who was dearly loved by his family.

The boy’s mother, Jada Haddad, expressed her heartache on Facebook, thanking her sister for starting the campaign and asking for prayers and support during this heartbreaking time. The family is deeply mourning the loss of their son, and our thoughts are with them as they navigate this tragic moment.
