A wealthy man, Braylon Morse, had spent his late teens caring for his sick grandmother, hoping to inherit her vast wealth. However, when she passed, he was left with only a note, which initially made him believe she had deceived him all those years. Braylon had big dreams of becoming wealthy and escaping the hard life he and his mother Caroline lived after his father left them. His opportunity came when his 90-year-old grandmother, Sandy, fell ill and needed someone to care for her. Sandy had run her late husband’s business on her own for years, managing estates, stocks, and more, but as she grew older, she wanted to be near her family.
However, Sandy’s relationship with her daughter, Caroline, had soured after Caroline married Braylon’s father, who Sandy had warned her about.
