Former MLB pitcher Juan Jaime tragically passed away at 37 from a heart attack, leaving the baseball community in shock. The Dominican-born pitcher played for the Atlanta Braves in 2014 and 2015, as well as other MLB teams and internationally. At the time of his death, he was with the Toros de Sincelejo in Colombia.
Journalist Damián Rancez praised Jaime’s impact, noting his strong fastball and resilience, despite his brief MLB career. The Tigres de Cartagena team in Colombia also honored him, remembering his camaraderie and joy on and off the field.
