A recent Rasmussen Reports survey (January 26-28) reveals 57% of likely U.S. voters support immigration raids aimed at deporting undocumented migrants, with 38% strongly approving. The survey also found that 48% support prosecuting officials in sanctuary cities who obstruct federal enforcement, while 38% disagree.

Additional findings include:
– 86% of strong supporters of the raids back prosecuting city officials.
– 81% of Republicans and 36% of Democrats approve of the raids.
– 71% of Republicans and 28% of Democrats think city officials should be prosecuted.

The poll also highlights differences in approval based on race and gender, with 62% of men and 58% of white voters supporting the raids.

Earlier this week, Trump’s Border Czar, Tom Homan, defended mass deportations during an interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins. He emphasized that illegal immigrants, especially those posing security risks, should be concerned, and that the U.S. will enforce its laws without exceptions.
