Gordon Ramsay is grateful to be alive.
Over the weekend, the celebrity chef took to social media to share a frightening experience with his fans. Even a week after the accident, the incident continued to shake him.
“I had a really bad bike accident this week in Connecticut,” Ramsay wrote. “Thankfully, I’m okay—no broken bones or serious injuries—but I am pretty bruised up and looking like a purple potato.”
As an avid cyclist, Ramsay emphasized the importance of always wearing a helmet, regardless of how short the ride may be or the cost of protective gear, calling it essential for safety.
“I’m fortunate to be standing here. I’m in pain—it’s been a tough week, but I’m managing to get through it,” Ramsay said as he lifted his shirt to reveal a large bruise.
The *Hell’s Kitchen* star also shared before-and-after photos from the accident.
I’m so relieved that Gordon Ramsay is okay. Seeing his injuries and the condition of his helmet serves as a powerful reminder of why wearing a helmet is so important, no matter what!
