We’ve all made choices we’re not proud of, regretted certain actions, or said things we wish we could undo. Ethan ‘ModBoy’ Bramble, an Australian man known for his extreme body modifications, including over 200 tattoos.

At just 11 years old, Ethan made his first decision to alter his body, choosing to stretch his ears. Since then, he’s undergone numerous procedures, such as splitting his tongue and even removing his belly button.

But it’s his tattoos that draw the most attention. Ethan’s body is covered from head to toe, with his ink collection costing him around $60,000 AUD (roughly $39,000 USD).

Despite the commitment, Ethan has since expressed regret over his past decisions.

“I guess you could say I regret some tattoos,” he shared during LadTV’s No Filter series.

He added, “Not just regret, but I think there’s a difference between regret and wanting to be seen differently.”

Ethan explained that he worries about the judgment he might face when performing everyday tasks, such as taking his daughter to school.

“The face is a big thing, and for some people, it can lead to a lot of problems. I wouldn’t want my daughter to deal with that until she’s a bit older,” he said. “I wish I hadn’t gone as extreme as I did with my face.”

To reverse some of his decisions, Ethan has been undergoing painful laser treatments to remove some of the tattoos he regrets.

“I’ve been getting laser treatments for about 12 months,” he explained. “We do it in sections, but I’ve probably gone over the full area six or seven times.”

He admitted that a lot of his anxiety stemmed from his heavily tattooed face, saying, “Mental health is tricky to pinpoint, but I think a lot of my anxiety came from having so many tattoos on my face.”

While he is happy with his appearance now, Ethan looks forward to a future where his facial tattoos fade away over the next two years. “I’m just clearing the canvas,” he said, hopeful for a new beginning.
